What we do to keep calls private and lawful, and how to protect yourself.
Adults only (18+)
PayCams is for adults aged 18 and over only. Content is general and non-sexual (conversation, company, tutoring). We run abuse reporting and safety controls in line with Philippine law, including RA 11930 (the Anti-OSAEC and Anti-CSAEM Act). Withdrawals require a photo of a government ID so we can confirm you are 18+ and that the GCash account is yours.
Calls are private and not recorded
The video goes directly between the two phones (peer-to-peer). We do not record, store, or show your call to anyone else. It is one-to-one and private. You are in control and can leave the call at any time.
Red flags: how to spot a scam
On PayCams, money only ever flows to you, never from you. Anyone doing any of the following is not us and is trying to scam you:
- Asking you to pay, deposit, or send money first to "unlock" or "activate" your earnings.
- Asking for your GCash password, PIN, OTP, or login code. We never ask for these and we cannot log in to your GCash.
- Asking you to move the conversation off the platform to claim a prize or bonus.
- Pressuring you to act fast or keep it secret.
If anything asks you to pay first or hand over your GCash login, stop and do not pay.
Reporting and blocking
You can leave any call instantly and use the in-call report control to flag a caller. To report abuse, a safety concern, or anything that looks like a scam, email us at support@paycams.mentrips.com. We review reports and can ban accounts.
